Virtual Register Committee – tangible results
The Register Committee held its meeting on 16 March, not in Porto, as had been planned, but virtually. Thanks to some planning (less urgent agenda items and non-application discussions postponed or by email) and an iron discipline of all participants, the meeting was conducted successfully.
The Register Committee concluded that the following four agencies demonstrated their substantial compliance with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the EHEA (ESG), all of them renewals of registration:
- ACSUG – Agency for Quality Assurance in the Galician University System (Spain) ACSUG reports in DEQAR
- AHPGS – Accreditation Agency in Health and Social Sciences (Germany) AHPGS reports in DEQAR
- NCPA – National Centre for Public Accreditation (Russia) NCPA reports in DEQAR
- VLUHR QA – Quality Assurance Unit of the Flemish University and University Colleges Council

DEQAR is our Database of External Quality Assurance Results. All EQAR-registered agencies have the right to enter their reports and decisions in our database. We currently have 31 participating agencies with many more planning to do so in the near future, also thanks to the new EU co-funded project DEQAR CONNECT, which will bring 13 new agencies into the database. DEQAR CONNECT aims to not only enhance coverage to EHEA countries currently under-represented in DEQAR, but also to enhance connectivity by exploiting existing synergies and exploring new opportunities to use DEQAR data.
