Evaluation of Master Study Domains
the evaluation procedure started in 2018. The results of the evaluation are valid for five years. -
Programme evaluation/accreditations
is valid for five years and must be renewed regularly. Programmes should receive a provisional authorisation granted by the Ministry. The institution should apply for accreditation of the programmes. The deadline for submitting the application for the accreditation of programmes is 2 years from the date of graduation of the first students promotion. -
Institutional evaluations/accreditation
is valid for five years. Institutional audit of HEIs and simplified institutional evaluation are also possible for institutions compliant with certain conditions, according to the provisions of Law no. 199/2023 with subsequent amendments and additions. A legal entity acquires the status of an education provider, after obtaining the provisional authorisation. The external evaluation procedure for institutional accreditation starts at the request of the education provider. The application deadline is 3 years from the accreditation of the first short-term study program, bachelor degree or study domain, as the case may be. -
Evaluation of Doctoral Study Domains
the evaluation procedure started in 2021. The results of the evaluation are valid for five years. The doctoral study domains' evaluation is carried out for accreditation or for the renewal of accreditation, while accreditation is awarded in two steps – authorisation (evaluation for the establishment of a new doctoral study domain, introduced in 2022) and accreditation. -
Evaluation of institutions organising doctoral study programmes (IOSUD)
the evaluation procedure started in 2021. The results of the evaluation are valid for five years. Starting with the new evaluation cycle, according to Law no. 199/2023, the periodic evaluation of institutions organising doctoral study programmes (IOSUD) will be carried out as part of the institutional evaluation process. -
