The proposed second cycle programme in Bioinformatics is modern in design, in line with current trends in science and justified by social and economic needs. The programme is structured in such a way that the content and objectives of the individual courses clearly show that students can acquire the expected competences. The program foresees the collaboration of leading researchers, which the expert group sees as an advantage to ensure the planned integration of mini-research projects into the programme. Students have access to extensive library resources and all other necessary equipment, such as computer laboratories with appropriate software. Since students with diverse prior knowledge will be able to enroll in the program, a group of experts recommends continuous analysis of the performance of students who have completed various first-cycle studies.
