Alma Mater Europaea - European Centre Maribor (ESM)

Alma Mater Europaea - European Centre Maribor has submitted an application to SQAA for an extension of accreditation as a higher education institution, specifically for the accreditation of a new distant unit located at Mariborska cesta 3, Celje. The expert group assessed the institution against all the prescribed standards for renewing the accreditation of a higher education institution (18), with a focus on various aspects directly related to the distant unit in Celje. The results indicate that the institution has adequate physical/spatial accommodations, planned staffing (including teaching and support staff), dedicated laboratories/specialty classrooms, well-organized library facilities, and a student affairs office. However, the expert group has identified areas that require improvement, such as upgrading classroom equipment to higher standards (including ergonomic furniture and computer equipment), adding more study materials to the library, and providing space/room for student activities.
