The study programs are meaningfully 27 upgraded in terms of content and ensure vertical development of students' professional competencies. FZAB also conducts education / training programs (Healthcare-associated infections, Nursing care in mental health and psychiatry, Mentoring in the clinical setting). The study program Nursing corresponds in scope (number of hours of clinical practice) and content to the European Directive for regulated professions. The study programs Nursing at the 1st and 2nd level are accredited by the German agency AHPGS, accreditations were not renewed after they expired. The study process is carried out in Jesenice (two locations) and at a dislocated unit in Ljubljana. The undergraduate study program Nursing is conducted as a concessionary full-time study program and as a part-time study program, the study program Physiotherapy is conducted as a full-time and part-time study program, all other study programs are conducted as part-time study program. The internal organization of FZAB is in accordance with the Higher Education Act, but there is a deviation in the organization with regard to the Statute (number of vice-deans). The study programs are implemented by 84 teaching staff, of whom six (6 FTE) are fulltime employees. Elections to the titles are conducted accordance with the Criteria for Elections, which are higher than the minimum standards set by SQAA for election to lecturer and senior lecturer. FZAB works well with teaching institutions where nursing and physiotherapy students undertake clinical practice, whilst providing a source of employment for suitably qualified staff. The employability of graduates (nursing, physiotherapy) is 90% after six months, and 100% of graduates in 2nd level study programs. The Center for Lifelong Learning, Career Counseling, Tutoring and Mentoring organizes annual training for mentors and staff in teaching institutions and other staff in health, social care and other institutions in the region and beyond. Some events have an international character. Students are appropriately involved in faculty committees and can participate in all major decisions. They can express their opinion through various student questionnaires and the data is conducted and analyzed regularly. FZAB takes care of the development of students and provides them help through the established tutoring system conducted by students and teachers. Students get necessary information through various sources (website, ŠIS, phone, SMS messages). Regional editors are responsible for updating the information on the website. In the period 2007-2020, the faculty has carried out 63 projects, currently two more projects are active, in both of which the faculty is involved as a partner. The research projects also involve students whose research results are in the form of published articles, master's theses and confirmed topics of doctoral theses. However, the quality indicators within the long-term goals of scientific research are not fully achieved. In the field of quality assurance, FZAB has an appropriate quality system. The Quality manual describes the procedures for monitoring the achievement of goals and for monitoring the satisfaction of all actors involved in the educational process. Quality is monitored through self-evaluation of all processes taking place at the faculty through various forms of external evaluation. At the management level, the establishment of a quality system is well recognized, but less so among students and new staff. 28 The faculty employs 8 non-educational staff, whose workload is increasing with the increase in student numbers and the opening of a dislocated unit. The faculty employs two librarians who have passed the librarian exam. Both assist students and teachers with literature searches in databases and enter publications into personal bibliographies. The number of library units is increasing by an average of just over 300 units per year. FZAB is funded by concession funds, student fees, research projects and registration fees. The allocation of funds is decided by the Governing Board. FZAB is characterized by a large affiliation of both students and teachers, non-teaching staff, mentors from educational institutions and future employers. FZAB has been proactive in responding to the Expert Group's report by listing some activities that have already been undertaken to improve the quality process and also listing activities that will be undertaken in the future. Thus, the impact of the improvements will be visible in the next evaluation.
