Complies with quality standards 1. The objectives of the study programme, the competences and learning outcomes defined in the syllabi are meaningfully connected to the overall competences of the doctoral programme English Studies and correspond to the level demanded for the doctoral study. 2. The research activity of the course holders provides a sufficient guarantee that the scientific and research content will be integrated in the study programme. 3. The individual courses are, in general, well connected horizontally and vertically, the credit allocation to individual courses is, provisionally, adequate, and the study programme as a whole is coherent. 4. The types, modes and the course of teaching, described in the application, are appropriate for the level of doctoral study. 5. All course holders fulfil the minimum standards for teachers at the doctoral level of study and the Slovene criteria for the supervision of PhD students, with teachers working in the field of English literature being especially highly qualified and also have experience in doctoral supervision. 6. Material conditions required for delivering the study programme are adequate: the university has made efforts to make their courses accessible to students with disabilities, and it has an extensive library which will be able to provide support to students at this level of study. 7. Admission requirements and the progression of students are appropriate and in line with Slovene legislation. 8. The University will appropriately allow the students to apply for recognition of knowledge and skills acquired prior to admission to the programme in line with the relevant regulations adopted by the University. 9. The types of assessment are, in general, in line with the level of study. 10. The Criteria for the completion of the study programme and for the transition between the study programmes are in accordance with Slovene regulations, the scientific title is appropriate. -
