Through family therapeutic practice and supervision, students will gain the necessary practical experience to work as independent therapists and deepen their knowledge for demanding professional work. The expected competencies align with the recommendations of international organizations for the recognition of education in the field of family psychotherapy. The institute is well-connected with various associations, organizations, and higher education institutions, and is actively involved in international projects. It would be good to prepare and publish an analysis of students' employment opportunities after completion of the proposed study program. For the implementation of practice, the faculty collaborates with the Franciscan Family Institute, the Study and Research Center for the Family, therapeutic and other centers with psychiatric clinics, CSDs, courts, non-governmental organizations, and others. A part-time study program with a limited number of enrollment places and a total of 60 credit points is planned, lasting two years. Appropriate teaching and learning methods are foreseen. The faculty has adequate premises, a library, modern equipment, and teaching technology. Enrollment conditions include the level and field of education, as well as a successful admission interview with a committee that assesses the candidate’s suitability for inclusion in the program. It would be good to publish rules on the interview process and selection criteria. A candidate selection procedure is foreseen in case of enrollment restrictions. Procedures for recognizing prior knowledge and clearly defined methods for assessing and evaluating knowledge are prescribed.
