Faculty of Health and Social Sciences Slovenj Gradec

The report on the change of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences Slovenj Gradec, with a focus on the establishment of a dislocated unit in Ptuj, covers the assessment of the institution's compliance with quality standards at the proposed dislocated unit. The findings of the expert group on meeting the standards are highlighted, with particular attention paid to premises and equipment, adjustments for students with disabilities, financial resource provision, and library services. The same group of experts concurrently evaluated the extension of accreditation of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences Slovenj Gradec along with the assessment of the dislocated unit. The expert group found that the premises in Ptuj are suitably equipped for the educational process but emphasized the need for further investments in equipment for laboratory exercises, especially for the Physiotherapy and Nursing study programs. The location in the city center offers good accessibility and connectivity to other infrastructure. The institution will make adjustments for students with various forms of disabilities, as the same institution (Ptuj Adult Education Centre) also has another location nearby, where the educational process can be carried out in such cases. The institution has appropriately planned and stable financial resources for the next four years, ensuring smooth operation and goal realization. Library services are satisfactory, with access to extensive materials and professional journals through collaboration with the local library. The faculty meets the set quality standards in these respects, thereby also opening opportunities for the highlighted further improvements.
