The entire study program is planned from the point of view of the individual disciplines and fields of study. Elective courses in the 2nd and 3rd years ensure appropriate specialist competences and basic employability. In response to the report, the FKPV prepared, in cooperation with lecturers, update and supplement the curricula by defining competences and learning outcomes in line with Bloom's taxonomy. The number of competences and learning outcomes in the curricula was standardised and the competences were divided into general and subject-specific ones. The expert group porpuse that the faculty provide training for lectures in the area of curriculum design, with a particular focus on knowledge of the appropriate definition of competences and teaching outcomes. Considering the scope and focus of the Business Sciences I program, the expert group concludes that the institute does not have a sufficiently developed (professional) project activity on which to base a successful integration with the proposed pedagogical activity. The program offers the possibility to study in 5 different disciplines (Business Informatics, Commerce, Tourism, Security Management, Management of Social Activities) and therefore it is necessary to establish an active project activity that includes projects from all disciplines. In this way, students from different disciplines will have equal access to knowledge based on the findings of experts. The expert group proposes that the institution establish an action plan for the acquisition of projects and the development of professional activities in all areas/directions of study. In response, the FKPV prepared an Action Plan for the acquisition of projects - period 2024-2025. On the basis of the prepared action plan, the group of experts removes the non-conformity and adds the implementation of the prepared action plan as an opportunity for improvement. In response, the FKPV appropriately changed, updated and supplemented the curricula of subjects where it was necessary to harmonise the number of contact hours and other forms of study. The FKPV has also added a revised 3rd year syllabus, which now offers appropriate external electives amounting to 10% of the KT of the study programme, therefore the expert group withdraws the identified inconsistency. The program is appropriately classified as KLASIUS-SRV: 6203 - Higher Vocational Education (first Bologna level)/Higher Vocational Education (first Bologna level); KLASIUS P-16: 0488 Interdisciplinary educational activities/outcomes, mainly business and administrative sciences, law; 1015 Travel, tourism, leisure: 1032 Safety, security and rescue; Frascati: [5] Social sciences. A general shortcoming in the preparation of lesson plans is the lack of indication of the availability of teaching materials and whether they are available in the FKPV e- Classroom or on the Internet. In response, the FKPV has appropriately changed, updated and supplemented the content of the curricula of certain subjects so that they are horizontally and vertically linked and in line with the objectives of the study programme. The faculty analyzes the connection to the environment with the help of questionnaires filled out by interns, their mentors in companies and employers. In collaboration with the mentors, the faculty solicits suggestions on competencies and updating the study program and curricula. The faculty has conducted an internal survey on the employability of graduates in 2023. In the application, the faculty proposes 180 study places, which is a lot considering that the number of students is trending downwards: 2017/18 (181); 2018/19 (166); 2019/20 (134); 2020/21 (133); 2021/22 (124). The expert group proposes reducing the number of study places from 180 to 150. A lack of professional and scientific research activity is noted among some practitioners of the pedagogical process and subjects, as evidenced by the assessment of bibliographic indicators in COBISS and research performance according to the ARRS (SICRIS) methodology. The above-mentioned shortcoming can lead to a limited transfer of current professional knowledge into the pedagogical process. The application of modern professional practices in the educational process is particularly important in first-degree vocational courses. In response, the FKPV prepared an action plan for the increased volume of publications and the success of the professional and scientific research work in the period 2024-2025, which defines 8 goals, measures for realising the goals, institutions and the deadline for implementation. It is difficult for the expert group to assess the extent to which the action plan will actually increase the success of the institutions' scientific research work, as this will only become apparent once the plan has been implemented. Nevertheless, the expert group decided to withdraw the partial inconsistency and turn it into an opportunity for improvement on the basis of the action plan drawn up. As a requirement for promotion from 1st to 2nd year, a part-time student must complete at least 20 KT from 1st year courses. In 1st year, there are 8 compulsory courses of 8 credits or 7 credits. The requirement for promotion allows a student to enroll in the 2nd year if they have only taken 3 exams in the 1st year, which may only account for 35% of all obligations. According to the expert group, this is insufficient for successful admission to the study process in the 2nd year, especially considering the fact that in the 1st year all courses are compulsory, i.e. they represent basic knowledge for further studies. The low conditions for transferring from the 1st to the 2nd year mean that the condition for transferring from the 2nd to the 3rd year is 80 KT and paid tuition fees. In response, the FKPV accordingly changed the Rules on Student Enrollment in such a way that a part-time student can progress to the 2nd year if he or she collects at least 30 KT and has paid the tuition fees in full. Based on the prepared changes to the Rules on Student Enrollment, the expert group has decided to turn the identified partial non-compliance into an opportunity for improvement. Considering the fact that the faculty is planning a hybrid implementation of the study program, which also includes knowledge assessment in distance learning or electronic form, a group of experts suggests that it would be necessary to supplement the curricula and regulations on knowledge assessment and evaluation with forms or methods of knowledge assessment adapted to distance learning. In its response, the FKPV stated that it has drafted a proposal for changes to the regulations on knowledge assessment and evaluation, adding methods of knowledge assessment adapted to distance learning. The regulations will be discussed at the Faculty Senate meeting in February 2024 and the changes are not yet visible in the curricula. The professional titles are in accordance with Article 4 of the Law on Professional and Scientific Titles (ZSZN-1).
